Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Invoiso or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the software or website.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
Software use and license
Invoiso is provided as free, open-source billing software. Your use, copying, modification, and distribution of the source code are governed by the license published in the project repository.
You may use Invoiso for personal or business billing workflows, subject to applicable laws and the project license. You may not misuse the software, website, download links, or support channels.
Your data and compliance
The desktop app stores billing data locally on your device. You are responsible for your invoices, tax settings, customer records, product records, backups, exported files, and any data you enter into the app.
Invoiso is a billing tool, not tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for verifying invoice formats, tax calculations, GST details, payment details, record retention, and compliance with rules that apply to your business.
Online invoice maker
The online invoice maker is provided as a convenience tool for creating invoice documents in the browser. You are responsible for checking all generated invoice details before sending them to clients or using them for business records.
Do not use the online invoice maker for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
Paid customization requests
Customization work is a paid service separate from the free app. Submitting the customization form or sending an email does not create an obligation for us to accept the project.
Before custom work starts, scope, pricing, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms should be agreed in writing. Changes outside the agreed scope may require a revised estimate.
Do not send confidential or sensitive business data unless it is necessary for the requested work. If sample files are required, remove private customer or financial details where possible.
Third-party services and links
The website links to or uses third-party services such as GitHub, Google Forms, Google Fonts, Font Awesome, YouTube no-cookie embeds, and Buy Me a Coffee. Those services are operated by their own providers and may have separate terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, downloads, payment pages, accounts, or services that are outside our control.
No warranty and limitation of liability
Invoiso and this website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the software, website, downloads, release data, invoice outputs, or support responses will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every business requirement.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, incorrect invoices, tax issues, device problems, or indirect damages arising from use of Invoiso or this website.
