UPI QR on Invoices

Make invoice payment easier by adding a scannable UPI QR code and clear fallback payment details.

What a payment QR should include

The QR should represent the correct UPI ID and payment receiver name. If your invoice software supports it, it may also include the amount so the customer does not need to type it manually.

Where to place it

Place the QR code near the payment summary or footer, where the customer naturally looks after checking the total. Keep it large enough to scan from a printed PDF.

Add fallback payment details

Add the UPI ID as text and optionally bank details. If the QR code cannot be scanned, the customer still has another way to pay.

Track payment status

A QR code helps collect payment, but the business still needs to mark whether the invoice is unpaid, partially paid, or fully paid.
