Invoiso Cloud Is Now Available

Invoiso has always been a local-first desktop app — invoices, customers, and products stored entirely on your machine with no internet required. That design works well for most small businesses. But some setups need more: multiple devices, shared access across a team, or billing data that stays in sync regardless of which machine someone logs in from.

Invoiso Cloud is the answer to that. It is a hosted version of the same Invoiso codebase, built on a cloud database backend, with team login and multi-device sync. It is not a separate product — it is the same invoicing experience you know, running connected. Initial cloud support and the PAN field for tax compliance landed first, followed by multi-tenant support so multiple businesses can run isolated accounts on the same deployment — both changes are documented in the changelog.

What Invoiso Cloud includes

• Same offline-capable PDF generation — no internet needed at the point of PDF creation, only for sync

Cloud vs offline: what actually changes

The invoicing experience itself — creating invoices, choosing PDF templates, tracking payments, running reports — is identical between the two editions. What changes is where the data lives and how many people can touch it at once. Offline Invoiso keeps everything on one machine, which means zero internet dependency but also zero multi-device access unless you manually move files. Cloud Invoiso keeps the database on hosted infrastructure, so any authorised team member on any device sees the same live data, at the cost of needing a working internet connection for sync.

Backups work differently too. On the offline edition, you're responsible for triggering backups yourself. On Invoiso Cloud, data is centralised on the hosted backend, so there's no manual export-and-copy step between machines — though you should still confirm your specific deployment's backup cadence when requesting access.

Who it is for

Invoiso Cloud is suited for businesses where:

• More than one person creates or manages invoices
• Billing happens across multiple locations or devices
• A local database on a single machine is a bottleneck
• Different staff need different access levels — for example, an admin who edits settings and a standard user who only creates invoices
• The business operates across more than one legal entity or branch and needs isolated data per entity (multi-tenant)

If the free offline version covers your workflow, there is no reason to switch. Invoiso Cloud is a fit only when the local-only model is genuinely a limitation — not because cloud sounds more modern.

Roadmap context

Invoiso Cloud started as an initial rollout focused on core sync and PAN-based tax compliance, then added multi-tenant isolation as the next milestone. The offline edition remains the primary product and continues to receive the majority of new features first — reports, dark mode, dashboard layouts and multi-currency all shipped there before appearing in the cloud edition. Cloud picks up the same feature set on a rolling basis as deployments are configured for each client.

How to get it

Invoiso Cloud is not a self-serve subscription. It is available for select clients on request. We configure the deployment to fit your team size and workflow before you start — there's no generic sign-up form because the setup (tenant isolation, user roles, sync configuration) needs to match how your team actually operates.
